FRow Friends is a community group created to encourage the forming of new friendships in the Forest Row area, addressing isolation and loneliness by nurturing connections. We recognise that many people feel isolated in their home and reduced mobility can affect their ability to get out and about.
Our one-to-one befriending service carefully matches members with our volunteers to promote a successful partnership. Having a FRow Friends Befriender can offer a supportive, reliable relationship to open up a range of activities and help to relieve a feeling of loneliness. We have a one-off joining fee of £20 for our members, visits from our volunteers are free of charge. All of our volunteers are DBS checked.
We are very excited to announce that we have been given a grant from the National Lottery to enable us to put on further EarlyBird cabarets in 2026 and 2027! The grant allows us to put on four more cabarets over the next two years. We are thrilled and would like to send a big thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund for supporting FRow Friends. The next cabaret will be on Thursday 21st May 2026!
